The UQAM LEGOthèque was created by Simon Bourdeau and Yannick Hémond. The aim is to democratize the use of LEGO® bricks in university teaching, and more specifically, in courses at UQAM. Simon and Yannick are both certified LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitators by the
Association of master trainers
. Simon Bourdeau has been using LEGO® bricks in his teaching for some 20 years. In fact, he won UQAM’s 2019 Teaching Excellence Award for his pedagogical innovations.
The brick can be used as part of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method or as a teaching medium. This site presents the method, possible uses for the LEGO® brick, current research projects and a list of references related to the LSP method and the brick.
