There are two main research projects underway. These projects are mainly carried out as part of the resilience, risk and disaster programs.
Active learning and the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method
This research project focuses on the use of active pedagogical approaches and the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (LSP) method in resilience, risk and disaster programs. More specifically, it aims to study the use of the LSP method as a complex problem-solving and knowledge integration tool.
The aim of this research project is to develop teaching activities using the LSP method in university courses.
The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method and how to participate
The aim of this project is to catalogue the different iterations of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (LSP) method and to study the effect of the modality of participation in a workshop on its results. From the basic method made public in 2010 by the LEGO® group(basic method), various groups (association, consultant, etc.) have evolved the basic methodology and we now find ourselves with just over 5 iterations. From these iterations, 2 modes of use are evoked. The first is for in-person use only (physical presence of participants), while the second is for remote use.
The aim of this research project is to study the impact of the participation modality on the achievement of the results of an LSP workshop and on the creative aspect of this same workshop.
